History  of  the Department  of Ecology

   On July 1, 1999, on the initiative of Academician Volodymyr Snitinskyy,  the Ecology department of the Lviv National Environmental University was set up. For more than 25 years, about a thousand of highly qualified specialists in Ecology who are engaged in the field of environmental protection, education and science have been trained. Scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department have published hundreds of scientific works, dozens of textbooks and manuals. They actively  participate in international scientific and educational programs and conferences. The staff of the department is actively working on improving the material and technical base of laboratories and workshops.

          On this special day, we wish all successes,  well-being and prosperity to all employees who have participated in the creation of the department and actively contributed to the development of the department's ecosystem.
